LOGTECH provides executive education in logistics and technology to a select group of uniformed and civilian senior leaders from the DoD, DoD agencies, all the military services, and the joint commands, as well as the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, and private sector firms in the defense industry. As the flagship program of the Institute for Defense and Business, LOGTECH advances the critical interchange of current ideas and initiatives between the military services, government agencies and private sector partners.
Faculty from nationally-ranked schools, such as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, as well as commercial and defense industry experts, lead the participants through a challenging, mind-expanding experience at the world-class Paul J. Rizzo Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
LOGTECH provides an outstanding learning environment. Participants get a chance to step outside of their normal office routine to learn, gather, and develop ideas and ways to improve the way they lead and manage their businesses at the strategic level for Executive Course participants and at the operational level for the Advanced Course participants. The highly interactive programs offer an intensive, residential learning experience, where participants explore leading-edge supply-chain, logistics, and organizational management concepts. Furthermore, they can test their ideas against peers and leaders in the military, business, and academe; challenge assumptions and gain a better understanding of the future of logistics and technology. The programs involve intensive discussions, lectures, case study analysis, and interaction between military logistics leadership, recognized civilian innovators, and academic logistics authorities.
Participants graduate from the LOGTECH programs energized and fitted with a set of skills and tools to make a real and positive impact in their organizations and their profession.
